Violeta Vicci is a London-based violinist, vocalist and composer of Swiss-Catalan heritage, weaving layered violin, ethereal vocals and subtle electronics into immersive soundscapes rooted in the natural world. Trained at the Royal Academy of Music, she works across scoring, string arranging and performance.

Her scoring work includes the original soundtrack for the film Ruby, directed by multi-BAFTA, RTS and Broadcast award-winner Aysha Rafaele (co-scored with Roger Goula), and the Roundhouse Film Fund commissions Cocoon (dir. Issy Franklin) and Love You (dir. Martha Nabila). In theatre, she is co-writing the music for, and performing in, SHE/HER, created and

directed by Nicole Ansari-Cox and presented by The Playground Theatre, Brian Cox and Actor’s Rising Productions (24 Nov – 5 Dec 2026). As an arranger she has written strings for Fontaines D.C., co-arranged with Guy Garvey for Elbow and co-written with The Orb, and has arranged and recorded strings for Shed Seven, Declan McKenna, Sorry, Remy Bond, Jazmin Bean, Eliza Shaddad and Suki Waterhouse, among others. As a performer she has recorded on film, TV and documentary scores for Clint Mansell, Martin Phipps, Volker Bertelmann, Bryce Dessner, Anne Nikitin, Nainita Desai, Carly Paradis and Alex Baranowski, and performed Jonny Greenwood's There Will Be Blood score live with orchestra.

Alongside her bespoke work, Violeta has released five studio albums, most recently Be Human with pianist Bruno Bavota. She is based in central London and offers remote recording from her home studio.
